And then there was snow.
And a hell of a lot of it.
I think 10-15 last night and another repeat perfomance again this evening.

No complaints from me though. It is winter. I do live in Canada.

And I actually enjoyed the shovelling this morning at 6am. Kind of a great way to wake yourself up and get the day started.

They say that there is an increase of people who pass away form heart attacks when there is alot of snow. People over exude themselves.

My coworker says that she sits at the window and watches her father as he shovels, for she fears that he will kick the bucket. I asked her why she didn't just shovel it herself.

Another joke, a lady was walking past the window, and saw her husband collapse into the snow.
She raced outside thinking that he ahd just hard a heart attack.
She got outside and saw him wiggling around in the snow making a snow angel.

Hmmmm

We got sent home from work today.
I was already planning on leaving, but it was a nice surprise.
We are being innundated by snow. I have not eben ventured to the window to see the mess.

My car troubles continue as it was washed and the doors are all frozen. The excitement!!!!

I have however done the impossible.
I finished all my marking in record time and have finished all of the culminating activities.

I also have finished my assignement for Spec Ed.

I can tell you that I am the model of efficiency today. It will not last.

All I wanted to do today was get my hair died. And maybe a cut.
Well, I did that and much more.

Did you ever see the Seinfeld episode when George's two lives became one?

Well I had that feeling today.

I walked into this Salon called Ego and two of the kids from the school both present and past were working in the place. No biggie.

So the hair desser tells me that he knows me from somewhere. And we start to talk about where we went to high school and such.
Well not five minutes later, am I not talking to my first love?

That's right ladies and gentlemen. Chad. What a blast from the past!

He is married as of last year and expecting their first in a month or so.

Congratulations!!!!

And FYI my hair looks great.

I HOPE YOU DIE
So one of my little angels is rolling dice off of his desk. After asking him several times to put them away, I called him up to my desk.
Upon his arrival he states "I don't have two, I only have one dice."
"Die" I tell him.
But if I know anything, I know that by saying he only had one, he really had two. So I asked for both of the dice.
"I have to have them back Miss. They belong to my Grandfather and he needs them tonight."

"No problem. You can have them back at the end of class."

So the end of class comes and he comes barging up to my desk and demands that he have the dice.

"Miss you have to give them back to me. They belong to my best friend, and if I don't return them he will kill me."

So, needless to say I refuse to return them as he lied to me.

He storms out of the class, as I wish him a great weekend, he shouts out as he slams the door.

"I HOPE YOU DIE"

There were two girls that were putting their books away and witnessed his display.
They started to laugh.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Miss, he said I hope you die. Die is singular for dice."

A ray of light, and an intelligent thought. I am a good teacher.

The ticket is booked.
I am off to the UK for my annual spring shopping spree.
However, I think that we may buck trend and head to Spain for an escape. How fun!!
I really wanted to go to Dallas this weekend to meet Dave and Lisa and the kids, but that did not happen.
Things are OK on this end, and have nothing exciting. I guess that is a good thing, but why am I so bored?

Week two of my new year training routine. I have been faithful to weight lifting three times a week and have been good at keeping 3 spinning classes a week. We shall see....

Off to bed to rest my head.
And tuck my feet under the sheet.

You know what comes next.

So that nice weather that we were so kindly teased with has come to a crashing hault. Saturday was +14. Today-11 with the wind chill. How horrible.

I think there were so many people hoping that the busses would be cancelled this morning. That did not happen, and that snow storm that was sent our way missed us. That is in my opinion the best thing. Less shit for me to deal with.

Back to work today is good news for two reasons. Wednesday night is pay day, and there are two weeks left before exams start and then I get a whole new set of lovelies.

Great to see all my coworkers again.

Congratulations to Neveen who is sporting a fab new diamond. And has set the date for next summer. I will be busy again this summer with weddings as I have four lined up between june and august.

Had a great week last week. courtesy of Cathy and her wild roomies. Mental note, no more drinking for me. I am a wild child myself, and it is a dark horse that I am best to keep hidden.

However, there is a birthday on the horizon and the plans have been put into motion.

I smell danger!!! I will report all of the sensored details.
