Wow!
Am home again from another around the world journey.
Had just returned from a fab vacation in the lovely New Orleans.
Hi three for one drinks!!!!
And hello unbearable heat. Thank God I thought ahead and booked a hotel that had a roof top pool. I would not last one red hot minute. Although I must say the heat was a different heat. Not as heavy as the heat in the T.O.
Ate alligator (surprisingly yummy), drank daquiris, and hurricances, bought some beads (and was given some as well), and purchased some fab feather masks. And of course some tasty duty free....

After a long day of travelling home, I woke up the next moring with a crazy, labour like pain (only one that I could imagine to be labour as I have no experience...) And am not sure but it might have been food poisoning. But I was a trooper and halled my arse to work again as Seestor was planning to meet up with me in Burmingham. It was great to see her and deeliver her Peanut Butter, home made jam (from Mum), and Microwave popcorn. I managed to put down some lunch and a pint. But that was the end of me. I had to sleep. It was not pretty, I could not even shop. Yes you read correctly.

It turned out to be a crazy weekend at the Plaza. Let me tell you. Olympic athletes, the West Indies cricket team!!! There was not a quiet moment in that place over the las t few days. I also came this close, and I mean this close to being on the BBC this afternoon as well.

And the flight home this afternoon? Wow, in all my years, I have never seen so many people vomit on the plane. The crowing moment was when the two little ladies (6 and 9) travelling by themselves, came to hug me good bye. Just as I released the 9 year old, she projectile vomited over my shoulder and splattered on the side of the suitcase. How on earth she did not vomit on me????? I have no idea!!. It was the funniest slow motion moment of my life. I almost vomited on her. Can you just imagine??

Another reason that I would NEVER become a groomer on the plane. I could not deal with that at all. We had to lock off a lav as someone did a number all over the floor, and I kidd you not that there were at least 20 gift bags left for people to pick up.

I won't even begin to tell you about the fab deals that I purchased on my big day out!!
Let's just say that I love the summer sales.

If you have any requests.. you better submit them in writing, complete with sizes please.

The Thunder From Down Under.
I am not talking about your thighs.....

What a storm last night. They car across the street had it's car alarm ring every time the thunder bellowed. It was unreal. I had great fears that the lightning was going to come through the house. It was truly an unbelievable scene.

Have a few unexpected days off, and we won't discuss the reason. But have turned to the house and have started five little projects. Started is the key word.

I must get down and finish them, but I would rather sleep. How can I be depressed in the summer? I am a winter depressiod!!!

Wish me luck!!

Are those my feet on Candain soil?
I love to travel, but I love to be at home.
I was supposed to be in Rome and Lisbon this weekend, but due to a delay on another company I did not make the cut and got pulled off my flight and reassigned to a Glasgow flight.
Which was fine with me as I love that city. Although we were only there for the day, I had a great shopping excursion.
I bought a pink coctail dress (FAB) and a pair of beige POINTY shoes, a silk black scarf with yellow polka dots and a pink scarf with shoes and purses on it. All for nine pounds. Got to love the summer sales.
Have a few days for myself, and am struggling already as I have nothing to do.
Ahh the dilemmas.
