Wow!
Am home again from another around the world journey.
Had just returned from a fab vacation in the lovely New Orleans.
Hi three for one drinks!!!!
And hello unbearable heat. Thank God I thought ahead and booked a hotel that had a roof top pool. I would not last one red hot minute. Although I must say the heat was a different heat. Not as heavy as the heat in the T.O.
Ate alligator (surprisingly yummy), drank daquiris, and hurricances, bought some beads (and was given some as well), and purchased some fab feather masks. And of course some tasty duty free....

After a long day of travelling home, I woke up the next moring with a crazy, labour like pain (only one that I could imagine to be labour as I have no experience...) And am not sure but it might have been food poisoning. But I was a trooper and halled my arse to work again as Seestor was planning to meet up with me in Burmingham. It was great to see her and deeliver her Peanut Butter, home made jam (from Mum), and Microwave popcorn. I managed to put down some lunch and a pint. But that was the end of me. I had to sleep. It was not pretty, I could not even shop. Yes you read correctly.

It turned out to be a crazy weekend at the Plaza. Let me tell you. Olympic athletes, the West Indies cricket team!!! There was not a quiet moment in that place over the las t few days. I also came this close, and I mean this close to being on the BBC this afternoon as well.

And the flight home this afternoon? Wow, in all my years, I have never seen so many people vomit on the plane. The crowing moment was when the two little ladies (6 and 9) travelling by themselves, came to hug me good bye. Just as I released the 9 year old, she projectile vomited over my shoulder and splattered on the side of the suitcase. How on earth she did not vomit on me????? I have no idea!!. It was the funniest slow motion moment of my life. I almost vomited on her. Can you just imagine??

Another reason that I would NEVER become a groomer on the plane. I could not deal with that at all. We had to lock off a lav as someone did a number all over the floor, and I kidd you not that there were at least 20 gift bags left for people to pick up.

I won't even begin to tell you about the fab deals that I purchased on my big day out!!
Let's just say that I love the summer sales.

If you have any requests.. you better submit them in writing, complete with sizes please.

The Thunder From Down Under.
I am not talking about your thighs.....

What a storm last night. They car across the street had it's car alarm ring every time the thunder bellowed. It was unreal. I had great fears that the lightning was going to come through the house. It was truly an unbelievable scene.

Have a few unexpected days off, and we won't discuss the reason. But have turned to the house and have started five little projects. Started is the key word.

I must get down and finish them, but I would rather sleep. How can I be depressed in the summer? I am a winter depressiod!!!

Wish me luck!!

Are those my feet on Candain soil?
I love to travel, but I love to be at home.
I was supposed to be in Rome and Lisbon this weekend, but due to a delay on another company I did not make the cut and got pulled off my flight and reassigned to a Glasgow flight.
Which was fine with me as I love that city. Although we were only there for the day, I had a great shopping excursion.
I bought a pink coctail dress (FAB) and a pair of beige POINTY shoes, a silk black scarf with yellow polka dots and a pink scarf with shoes and purses on it. All for nine pounds. Got to love the summer sales.
Have a few days for myself, and am struggling already as I have nothing to do.
Ahh the dilemmas.

Off to the land of sex and sin. Amsterdam.

Also picked up my schedule for the month of July. My destinations include Rome, Lisbon, Belfast, Glascow, Vancouver, and Burmingham.

Me, negligent in my postings?

Of course.

Today was fathers day, and yes sister, I signed your name on both the cards. We went to visit Daddy today and updated the flowers that decorate his spot. It was busy today, as it must be on special days all the time. I am still new to this whole thing.

We spent the afternoon with the grandparents. Grandpa told me so many stories today about his visits into Glascow, I hope to be able to go and visit some places he talked about. Maybe this summer.

Have submitted my requests for July, and can only wait to see what I get. With people coming and going into the country, and weddings, and bachlorette parties, and visiting my fmaily in England and Vancouver. I am not sure how I am going to get everything in. I suppose I will have to prioritize.

The good news is that Ryan will only need to have hip replacement surgery. The thought was that he might have had to had his leg rebroken and then hip replacement, but the later is the only required procedure.

I asked him to come to Teresa's wedding, as she is the one that introduced him to me many years ago. I think that it is good for him to get out. Although I dread running into some of my ex-friends. That whole scene was silly and I think I would like to pretend that it never happened. That is me, pretend that things did not happen for long enough they will not exist. I know... silly.

Classes may be done, but I have been uber busy running around doing things that I should have done before. But am happy to report that all is marked, and have only to input the marks and comments first thing in the morning.

There have been a hundred and one social activities, that have required my drinking, I mean attendance. Hosted a poker party thursday night. I do not know how to play poker, but I do know how to get 48 beers left at my house. The two day rule is kicking in as of midnight tonight.

I also go back to work this weekend, which is good and bad. I like the money, and the travel, but the hours are insane. The fact that I am home so little is also crazy. But a shopaholic has to do what a shopaholic has to do. (Can't wait to hit that jewlery store in Amsterdamn. The one that the cool necklaces come from.)

And then I am home to unpack, hit a bachlorette party for Mandy, and then leave for Montreal for three days. I can wait for the testing, but am excited about being in that city. I am such a city girl.

And as summer hits so does my insomnia. In bed around midnight but wide awake by 5am. Good thing I function best on no sleep.

Can't wait to see everyone in the next few weeks!!!

So there it sits. The can of Diet Coke that spent the day rolling around in my car. I don't drink Diet Coke except on special occasions (since my Dad passed away). Only three times in the last two and a half years. Once on New Years as my date made me a drink and did not know, once when I was in Barcelona with my sister, and then tonight. Not sure what the special occasion was though. :) Posted by Hello

In Greek town this afternoon. Could not park in my usual parking lot. Booted down the street, and saw a spot that I thought we could fit into. Oh yes, I parallel parked my car in three points. Wheels straight and only inches from each of the bumpers surrounding me. Posted by Hello

The two lovely seestors on one of their quick visits. I believe it was our birthday week. And we had Thai food that you hated and I loved. Posted by Hello
OK.
So I guess that you might be wondering where on earth I have been lately.

Just purchased the JET CD. And it is FAB. It will motivate me to post lots of information.

I have had a major computer meltdown at the worst possible time. I dropped my laptop off of my fab chair in my office, which led to the breakage (if that is a word) of the back light of the screen. Sounds reparable, $1200-$1600, and two and a half weeks later, it has been returned to me. Thank God I did not have to pay for it. And minor panic as it came back a little confused. I had to hunt for all of my files. Thank God I found them, I almost cried.

So I am back, and can quickly tell you what I have been up to over the last few weeks. There will be no chrono order as I think in random patterns.

*Am playing Volleyball on Wednesday nights with one girl that I used to work at the beach with (Shaunna) and her friends. The team is called twenty something. Something that I am not.
*If anyone knows me, they know that I HATE VOLLEYBALL. Why on earth am I playing? I do not know. But contrary to where you minds are probably going, there is no boy involved.
*I am returning at least for one more flight to the airline. I have decided to retun so that I can make some money to pay off all the debt that I have accumulated because I have not worked for 8 months. YIKES
*My neighbours are the proud new parents of their second little boy. As cute as a button. I woke up last weekend to see the cars all over the lawn and figured that the baby had decided that it was time. His name is Alexander Jason (AJ) just like KJ. I told them that I was flattered that they loved me so much that they named their child after me.
*School is almost finished, and as much as I try to encourage the kids to stay on track I am having a hard time myself. 11 school days left, not that I am counting.
*Lost the cord to my digital camera but have bought a replacement so that I can take pictures YEAH. I know people who will be very happy about that.
*Am heading to Montreal next weekend for a stag/stagette. Now, I am not a princess, but I will be flying. I am too old. and have done that drive too many times. I will begin and end my month in that fab city (as I have to return for training with the airline at the end of the month). Plenty of shopping to do, and drinking, and dancing, but I also want to spend the Saturday in Vieux Montreal at a cafe absorbing the awesome culture it has to offer.

That is it for the moment.

I am alive, and I will be posting again.
